Charisma Carpenter and Ty Olsson have been cast as leads in the indie thriller "Crash Site."
The story centers on a family vacation in the woods, during which a couple must fight their way back to civilization through injuries, creepy critters and wild animals after their Jeep crashes. Jason Bourque is directing the film, which recently began principal photography in Vancouver.
Jack and Joseph Nasser ("Damage") are producing.
Repped by APA and John Carrabino Management, Carpenter has been a regular on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," "Angel" and "Veronica Mars." She now appears in Lionsgate’s action film "The Expendables."
Olsson, repped by Pacific Artists Management and Roar, has been a regular on the series "Men in Trees," "Battlestar Galactica" and "Defying Gravity." In features, he has appeared in "2012," "Aliens vs. Predator : Requiem" and "Just Friends."
A new still of Kristen Bell in the new film, Burlesque has surfaced. She's looking dam fine as a brunette too. Its been reported that she might be comletely rethinking her blonde bombshell status.
"When I had the wig on I didn't even recognize myself in the mirror. I felt like another person," Bell tells Instyle.com.
And for the usually sunny-haired star, the temporary change might be something she is considering for good.
"Now I'm over being blonde. If I'm well received as a brunette in Burlesque then maybe I'll go brunette in [real life]!"
While we are used to Kristen as a blonde, we love the chocolate brown hair against her fair skin and sparkling blue eyes, and think she should try it out for real.

With a successful acting career and a hit television show, it can't be easy to look after a young child.
But American Pie star Alyson Hannigan was clearly loving the challenge yesterday as she took her 17-month-old daughter Satyana Marie to the playground.
And onlookers couldn't have failed to spot the resemblance between the 36-year-old actress and her daughter as they played on the climbing frames in the Los Angeles sunshine
The actress, who plays kindergarten teacher Lily Aldrin on hit CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother, also brought her husband Alexis Denisof along for the day out in the Santa Monica area of the city.
And mum looked low key and stylish in a sleeveless pink top, scarf and black shorts as she played with little Satyana who looked cute in flowery leggings and a pink T-shirt.
'[Being a mother] has changed me in every way because my life is so much greater,' Hannigan told US Weekly back in May.
'It filled a void I never knew was there,' she added. 'it's the most amazing experience of my life. I just feel so blessed to get to be on this journey, to be a mommy. She is just the greatest baby.'
Hannigan met Denisof after he starred alongside her in cult TV series Buffy The Vampire Slayer and they wed in October 2003.
The actress can next be seen in the new series of How I Met Your Mother which airs in the U.S. next month.
