Vendredi, le Cricket (coiffée de son autre chapeau comme à Culture Vulture) a mentionné que l’actrice Eliza Dushku était en Utah et avait laissé cette information à l’ensemble de ses fans fanatiques sur Twitter.

Nous savons maintenant ce qu’elle faisait ici, merci à la très branchée réalisatrice Ondi Timoner.

Timoner (plus connue en tant qu’unique gagnante à deux reprises du Grand Prix Documentaire du jury au festival du film de Sundance pour « Dig » et « We Live in public ») était à la conférence des producteurs créateurs de l’Institut Sundance, parlant aux personnalités influentes de l’industrie des grandes idées novatrices dans la production de films indépendants.

Timoner a rencontré Dushku là-bas pour discuter de leur projet – un biopic (non un documentaire) du photographe Robert Mapplethorpe, que Timoner dirige et Dushku produit.

On Friday, the Cricket (wearing his other hat as the Culture Vulture) mentioned that actress Eliza Dushku was in Utah, and had tweeted that information to her rabid fan base.

Now we know what she was doing here, thanks to plugged-in filmmaker Ondi Timoner.

Timoner (who's best known as the only two-time winner of the Documentary Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival, for "Dig!" and "We Live in Public") was at the Sundance Institute's Creative Producing Summit, talking to industry movers and shakers about the big new ideas in producing indie films.

Timoner met Dushku there (there's a photo above, courtesy of Timoner) to talk about their project — a biopic (not a documentary) of the photographer Robert Mapplethorpe, which Timoner is directing and Dushku is producing.
